Are you looking for a new challenge?
The Resident Scrutiny Panel gives residents the power to challenge our performance and to bring about changes to the services we provide.
We go to great lengths to ensure that resident on the panel have all the training they need to be able to carry out this role effectively and will be fully supported by staff and their external mentor. You will have an opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people working together with staff to make a difference.
What doe s the Scrutiny Panel do?
The panel works closely with residents, staff, management and the Circle Housing Mole Valley Board to examine services and performance to identify areas for improvement. Scrutiny Panel members make sure we do what matters to residents.
What commitment is required?
Being a member of the panel requires a level of commitment, which we will be able to support you with. The panel meets monthly, usually late afternoon or early evening. It may be necessary to hold additional meetings, training or activities when carrying out a scrutiny project. This may include visits to other organisations to look at how they perform and the services they offer their own residents.
Can I apply?
All of our residents can apply and members will be selected on the basis of the skills and experience they can offer. A positive attitude, energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to improving service are more important than qualifications.Back to noticeboard
